Meet Malcolm

Malcolm was born in Charleston, South Carolina, to Navy parents, and grew up in Madisonville, Kentucky. He has a dual Master of Arts in Management and Human Resource Development from Webster University, St. Louis MO.


He retired from the United States Air Force in 2004, after twenty years of service. Previous military job assignments include Faculty Advisor, Academy of Military Science, Knoxville, Tennessee; Director of Personnel, 131st Fighter Wing, St. Louis, Missouri; and Executive Assistant, Pentagon, Washington DC. Primary duties during his Air Force career included occupational safety and health, environmental management, human resource management, curriculum development, classroom instruction (management, leadership, occupational safety, environmental protection) and program management.


Following his Air Force career, Malcolm joined the Boeing Team in 2004, serving as a Program Manager at the Boeing Leadership Center, St. Louis, MO, where he managed the First-Line Leadership and Mid-Level Leadership programs. Primary responsibilities included the simultaneous management of multiple program phases and projects, to include design and deployment management, budget management, program quality metrics, and participant satisfaction. Additionally, he managed partnerships and coordination with multiple internal and external customers, stakeholders and partners. During his time at Boeing, he also served as a Regional HR Business Partner, providing leadership, guidance, and oversight to the Midwest and East Regions of the Site Services business segment.


Malcolm transitioned from Boeing to Humana Inc., Louisville, KY, in 2013, were he served as an HR Investigation Consultant, and a Regional HR Business Partner, providing support and oversight for five Humana/CenterWell Markets and its Market Leadership, to include Market Presidents and Chief Medical Officers. He was the single point-of-contact for responding to HR inquiries pertaining to company practices and policies. Malcolm coached, advised, and consulted Business Leaders on a variety of HR related issues, to include employee management systems, placement and assignments, performance evaluation, disciplinary actions, and career planning. He coordinated personnel actions with various HR partners, employee relations and corporate legal representatives. Additionally, he analyzed employee management system data, providing reports and analytical perspectives, which drive critical business decisions.


He retired from his corporate career in October of 2025 to pursue other personal and professional interests. Malcolm is married to Lori, and they have three children, Ashley, Cameron, and Erin and two granddaughters (Luvaeh and Londyn). They reside in Hodgenville, KY where they enjoy sports, camping, motorcycling, and supporting their granddaughter’s competition cheer team.
